LEADERSHIP TRAINING & TOOLS
The training of Pastors, Hub Leaders, Children Harvest Teachers, and other Disciple Makers usually takes place under the open skies, in temporary structures or in the 66 Church buildings (in 5 nations) already erected in partnership with International Cooperating Ministries. These buildings play an important role in reaching entire regions for Christ.
The permanent structure is a witness of stable Christian commitment in the community and something that helps attract and win people to the Faith and to Discipleship.
A church building costs about $10,000. The goal is to build each HUB at least 1 structure for a meeting and training center. A “3 year diploma” curriculum consisting of 33 training manuals are used for pastoral training. Currently there are 300 Pastor Trainees enrolled in the program in Zambia. The training materials cost $ 55 per student.
LEADERSHIP TRAINING SEMINARS
Pastor Jeff conducts annual leadership training using a conference style setting. In the months of April and September Hub Leaders and other potential church planters are gathered together for a week of Bible Training and encouragement.
Through your gifts the men are provided room and board while attending the conference. Most will travel many miles and a small gift is given to them to help them with travel expense.
The first conference in September, 2007 was a success with 55 pastors attending.
A $100 sponsorship will provide a pastor/church planter with study material, food, housing, and travel for this 5 day event.
BICYCLES
Many of our men are older and very few have cars. Bicycles make for better mobility, easing the pastors burden and increasing his productivity. A bicycle increases a pastor’s ability to reach his trainees and people.
